Leaping Ball Chain

When one end of a chain of beads is pulled from a jar and allowed to fall, the rest of the chain rise up to an arch, leaping from the jar. This effect begins with a rotation produced from the initial upward pull resulting in a downward force on the opposite end of the the chain, generating an upward reactive force, driving the apparent leaping.
