Yusef Maleki (IQSE, Texas A&M University)

Location:

Address:

Mitchell Physics Building

College Station, Texas 77843-4242

About The Speaker

Yusef Maleki received his Master of Science degree in theoretical physics from the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili in Iran and his PhD degree in physics from Texas A&M University. Yusef is now Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University. His He has worked on various aspects of quantum optics and information science, such as the resource theory of quantum entanglement, quantum metrology and sensing, open quantum systems, quantum state engineering, non-Hermitian quantum systems, waveguide-QED, etc.

Event Details

Entanglement is an important phenomenon in physics that underlies the most perplexing aspects of quantum mechanics. In this talk, I will talk about entanglement and its role in our recent understanding of quantum dynamics and beyond.
