Soliton contributions to perturbative processes in QFT are controlled by a form-factor and usually exponentially suppressed. Dr. Papageorgakis will discuss how for instantonsolitons in 5D SYM this does not happen, due to the existence of a size modulus for the instanton solution. This seminar will also consider the possible implications of this result for the UV behaviour of 5D SYM and its relation to the (2,0) CFT in 6D.
