New Principles for Scattering Amplitudes

Speaker:

Jaroslav Trnka (University of California, Davis)

Address:

Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics & Astronomy

Event Details

In this talk I will review some of the recent developments in the study of scattering amplitudes which show how the physics principles can emerge from intriguing geometric structures. The first example is Amplituhedron in the context of maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory but similar ideas were found to apply for more general QFTs.
