Event Details

Associated production of a Higgs boson and a top quark pair (ttH) is the last of the major Higgs boson production modes at the LHC to be established. The production rate is sensitive to the top quark’s interactions with the Higgs field, in particular the top quark Yukawa coupling and potential higher dimension operators from new physics. From a combination of searches, the ATLAS experiment has established 4.2 sigma evidence for ttH production. I will discuss the searches and prospects for the future of these studies.
