Event Details

Quantum dot assemblies are widely used in various applications including lasing, LEDs and photovoltaics. Controlling their emission properties have been achieved using various photonic and electrical methods. In my talk I will present some recent examples from our laboratory whereby we demonstrate various regimes of emission efficiency from weak coupling including Purcell enhancements and beyond, to strong coupling using plasmonic or electrical tuning of the quantum dots assemblies. We demonstrate emergence of new regimes of light-matter interactions at the nanoscale in these assemblies.
