Luca Malgeri (Fermilab)

Location:

Address:

Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics & Astronomy

Event Details

I will present the current status of the CERN Large Hadron Collider. A selected number of recent results from CMS and other LHC experiments will be shown spanning from Standard Model measurements to searches for physics beyond the Standard Model. The second part of the seminar will be dedicated to the CMS preparatory work for the LHC high luminosity phase and the expected physics reach based on recent projections and simulations.
