Fun with freezing carnations, racquetballs
Racquetballs are typically flexible and able to bounce, however, when frozen in liquid nitrogen, they become fragile and shatter when dropped, but regain their elasticity as they warm. Living cells, such as flowers, become brittle at the temperature of liquid nitrogen, and do not regain their original properties.
