Event Details

One of the goals of the LHC program is to uncover physics beyond the Standard Model. A popular candidate is SuperSymmetry (SUSY). Among the many new particles predicted to exist by SUSY, the top squark plays a special role. In this talk, Dr. Campagnari will discuss the search for top squarks at CMS. He will mostly focus on the search in the single lepton channel, which is the most sensitive over a wide range of parameter space. Dr. Campagnari will try to give a picture of how this search actually works (the good, the bad, and the ugly) at a level beyond what is usually covered in the typical conference survey talk.
