Event Details

The LHC physics program has been fantastically successful, culminating in the discovery of the last missing piece of the standard model - the long sought Higgs boson. Yet, no new physics beyond the standard model has been observed so far. In this talk, I’ll cover an exciting possibility of low-energy quantum gravity, which could address some of the deficiencies of the standard model, and at the same time can open a completely new universe with additional spatial dimensions, possibility of experimental string theory studies, and perhaps one of the most interesting possibility -production of miniature black holes at the LHC.
