Poisson sigma models are a special type of twodimensional topological models whose target space is endowed with a Poisson algebra of functions. In this talk we show that such models naturally admit a supersymmetric extension, which in turns extend the target space Poisson algebra of zero-forms to differential Poisson algebras of forms with arbitrary degree. We also comment on the possible connection of these models with theories of higher spin gravity.
