Event Details

Inflationary alpha-attractor is a class of inflation models consistent with current observational data. In the model, the moduli space geometry of the inflaton scalar is hyperbolic geometry. It is known that multiple scalar fields, of which moduli space has hyperbolic geometry, appear in the effective theory of superstring theory. Motivated by this fact, we will consider the model with multiple moduli fields. First, we will show a class of supergravity models for inflation, where inflationary potential is described by geometric coupling between inflaton and SUSY breaking field. Then, we will discuss the multi-moduli alpha-attractor. Finally we show an interesting property of the axion field in hyperbolic geometry.
