Event Details

The HL-LHC upgrades for the CMS detector include a possibility to reconstruct high pT tracks at the very first level of the trigger. While necessary to maintain the performance of muon and tau triggers in the high luminosity environment, such trigger can open up new ground for new phenomena searches. In this talk I will give examples of such searches, and use simple parametrized simulation to estimate their sensitivity.
