Event Details

We consider gravity with a generic p-form field strength and construct the polynomial invariants of Riemann tensor and the field strength in such a way that the field equations of motion remain second order in derivatives. We study a few low-lying examples in some detail and discuss their applications in black hole physics and also in the AdS/CFT correspondence
