Event Details

The UV behavior of extended supergravity has been revealed by direct higher-loop amplitude calculations. For **N=8** supergravity, its finiteness has been shown up to 5-loop, and for **N=5** supergravity, up to 4-loop. The presence/absence of UV counter terms consistent with symmetries of the system would be able to explain possible UV divergence/finiteness. In this talk, we will discuss the counter terms in **N=5**, 6 supergravity. In particular, we focus on the global duality symmetry. We will show that the duality symmetry argument can forbid UV divergence up to 3-loop in N=5 and 4-loop in **N=6**.
