Event Details

Sterile neutrino at the keV mass range is a well-motivated dark matter candidate. In this talk, Dr. Ng will discuss the rich phenomenology associated with sterile neutrino dark matter. In particular, he will discuss recent progresses (and excitements) of using X-ray observations to search for these sterile neutrinos. Also discussed will be the idea of dark matter velocity spectroscopy, which can be a very powerful tool for diagnosing any tentative sterile neutrino signals.
