Event Details

We propose **AdS_2/CFT_1** dualities between large N topological quantum mechanics (TQM) and 2d YangMills (YM) on **AdS_2**. We argue that such dualities can be obtained from localization on both sides of the **AdS_4/CFT_3** dual pairs with **N=4** supersymmetry. We discuss the case of ABJM/M-theory duality in detail, where we identify the infinitely dimensional symmetry algebra in the large N TQM, and this hints at an emergent infinite dimensional gauge symmetry in the bulk 2d YM after localizing to **AdS_2**.
