The AAS Policy office works in the intersection of the astronomical sciences and advocacy; this intersection is frequently called science policy. Policy talks- -like this seminar--are our opportunity to update the community about the advocacy work we have been doing. This guide will include an overview of the topics that are relevant to the astronomical sciences community. I will also cover why you should and how you can get involved in science policy and advocacy.
