Mitchell Institute Events

Add to my Google Calendar

  1. Go to calendar.google.com. Log in if prompted.
  2. On the left side, find "Other calendars" and click the down arrow Down arrow.
  3. Select Add by URL.
  4. Copy the iCal link below and paste the URL of the calendar into the Google field.
  5. Click Add calendar. The calendar will appear on the left side under "Other calendars."
  6. It may take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.

  1. Go to outlook.live.com/calendar/. Log in if prompted.
  2. On the left side, click "Import calendar".
  3. Near the left, click From web.
  4. Copy the iCal link below and paste the URL of the calendar into "Link to the calendar".
  5. Enter a calendar name just below that.
  6. Click Import. The calendar will appear on the left side under "Other calendars."
  7. It may take over 24 hours for changes to show in your Outlook Calendar.

Trotter Prize & Endowed Lecture

This year’s honorees are physicists Alan Lightman of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Andrew Steane of the University of Oxford. They will be discussing the interaction between the sciences, the humanities, and religion.

This endowed lecture series and its associated prize was established in 2002 to honor the memory of Dr. Ide P. Trotter Sr., former dean of the Texas A&M Graduate School.
