Printers in the Physics Department

There are 4 black & white printers and 1 color network printer which are available for use in the Department of Physics which are accessable over the network.

Before adding any of these printers, you should first copy the device driver files to your computer. These drivers are located at ftp://ftp.physics.tamu.edu/Printer Drivers/. For the Dell printers, be sure to copy the entire directory applicable to the operating system on your computer to a temporary location on your computer (eg. "C:\Temp"). For the Color Xerox printer, first copy the ".zip" file to your computer, then extract the files to a temporary location on your computer (eg. "C:\Temp").

• Trying to cancel a print job?
  This link is used for cancelling jobs sent to the color printer, jobs which were printed from one of the computers in the 217 lab, or printed directly from one of the Linux computers.
  Login with your physics account, locate the job you wish to cancel, and choose 'Cancel Job'.
