Ultrafast Nonlinear Optics

Nonlinear optics describes the behavior of light in media in situations where effects are not simply proportional to the electric field of the light. Such nonlinearities are readily obtainable and the dynamics at short time-scales are rich and important to many branches of physics and optical engineering.
