Highly efficient Dielectric Resonator Antenna for ensembles of Nitrogen-vacancy color centers in diamond

In this work, we demonstrated new design of highly efficient dielectric resonator based microwave antenna able to create strong and uniform in 3D microwave magnetic field. High, up to 10 MHz Rabi frequency at modest excitation power of 5.2 W along with superior uniformity of the field was demonstrated on the example of commercially available diamond plate, containing NV color centers in diamond. This new high quality dielectric based antenna pave the way to few femtoTesla diamond based magnetometry.
