Graduate Financial Aid
The stipend amount for a Teaching Assistant, effective the end of August, 2002, will be $1,700 per month. Qualified students will also receive either full or partial tuition remission. In addition, we have many very lucrative fellowships which can be used in lieu of or in addition to an assistantship.
We invite you to browse through the online research brochure describing our department, and to download the electronic application form (coming soon) for graduate study in physics. We will also be happy to send you a printed copy of the new brochure and/or an application packet if you prefer to apply offline. Funds are available for all expense paid visits to our department. We hope to hear from you and would also appreciate very much if you would inform any classmates who might be considering graduate education in physics about our excellent programs.
